Il senso della tradizione e dell’innovazione si fonde nella più spettacolare e imponente delle iniziative 
durante la novantesima edizione del Pitti Uomo. Nel magnifico scenario del Palazzo Capponi Vettori, Il gusto dell’estetica e dell’arte hanno dato spazio a un evento all’insegna del buon gusto e del bien vivre.
Inebriati tra le opere d’arte che rivestono il Palazzo, e i profumi del Lungarno Guicciardini, nomi di prestigio hanno distillato i minuti con le migliori produzioni del fatto a mano italiano e mondiale. Per il palato maschile più esigente, spiccano i doppiopetto di accurata manifattura della Sartoria Chiaia, in cui emerge un innovativo senso del classico, reinterpretato con la disinvoltura partenopea del sarto Gennaro Annunziata; pellami di qualità per l’eccellenza fiorentina delle calzature Ducal; smeraldi e pietre rare degli sfavillanti gemelli di Begum Khan, con uno squisito gusto esotico proveniente da Istanbul. Non mancano grandi nomi per la classe volta al femminile durante il Fashion Frames; Duccio Venturi, Patrizia Corvaglia, Chevalier e tanti altri. Ospiti di spicco ed elegantissimi, hanno omaggiato con grande ovazione il successo del libro, Il Gentiluomo senza Cappello, di Mario Dell’Oglio, nonché presidente della Camera Nazionale Buyers, richiamando l’attenzione per un nobile senso dell’eleganza maschile, perso tra le insidie della modernità.
For the third consecutive season DeGorsi luxury consulting curated Salon of Excellence conference & exhibition, supported by Camera Italiana Buyer Moda, on June 14, 2016 at the mesmerizingly beautiful setting of Palazzo Capponi-Vettori in Lungarno Guicciardini 1, Florence.
Presenting the culture of excellence through a selection of finest manufacturers, always respecting tradition but with progressive outlook towards the future, this year’s edition was an absolute highlight of Pitti Uomo.
Key-note speaker of this edition was the president of the Camera Italiana Buyer Moda, Mario Dell’Oglio, who presented his book “Gentleman without a hat” at the event. The title of the book came from an observation: that a hat is man’s only visible style object, which has been lost overtime. It is a symbol about the best way of presenting yourself to other people. Alex Dordevic, chairman of the DeGorsi luxury consulting, introduced participating masters of craftsmanship from all parts of Italy such as Sartoria CHIAIA, bespoke tailors from Naples; Calzaturificio DUCAL, bespoke shoemakers from Florence; BEGUM KHAN, deluxe cufflinks from Istanbul. Cris Egger, co-chair of the event, presented the ladies fashion segment titled FASHION FRAMES, with ROXANA PANSINO couture, DUCCIO VENTURI ladies shoes, D’ASY handcrafted accessories and fashion designer Avaro Figlio as special guest of the event. Among other participants were artist LOLA VITELLI with her project Art Luxury Bags, CHEVALIER with prestigious line of accessories, jeweler PATRIZIA CORVAGLIA with collection of uniquely handcrafted pieces, MAG ladies handbags of highest level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Vibrant atmosphere followed the presentation of the book with the concert of the pianist Alessandro Martire introducing his album “Flames of joy” and a cocktail sponsored by Tenuta Artimino.
