Oggi vi portiamo a Seattle, la città principale dello Stato di Washington.
Seattle si trova tra un braccio dell’oceano Pacifico, chiamato Puget Sound, e il lago di Washington.
Non tutti sanno che viene chiamata con il suo soprannome ufficiale, Emerald City, in seguito ad un concorso tenutosi nei primi anni 80: il soprannome si riferisce ai lussureggianti alberi sempreverdi nell’area che circonda la città.
Il cuore moderno della città dominato dalla Space Needle, la torre che è tra gli edifici più alti al mondo nonché simbolo di Seattle, è mixato in modo armonico.
La città è una meta ideale per gli amanti dell’architettura, con zone caratterizzate da strutture avveniristiche e moderne e vecchi quartieri realizzati in stile vittoriano.
Consiglio: non lasciatevi sfuggire l’occasione di cenare (o pranzare) in cima allo Space Needle. Un’emozione unica.

Seattle is located between an arm of the Pacific Ocean called Puget Sound and Lake Washington.
Not everyone knows that is called by its official nickname, Emerald City, following a contest held in the early 80s: the nickname refers to the lush evergreen trees in the area that surrounds the city.
The modern heart of the city dominated by the Space Needle (you should go at the restaurant on the top, ed), the tower is among the tallest buildings in the world and a symbol of Seattle, is mixed harmoniously.
