Dopo un anno di sacrificio, insicurezza ed incertezza, forse l’ultimo pensiero è quello di organizzare un viaggio, ma la voglia è tanta e non dobbiamo scordarci di tutti quegli stati d’animo che ci hanno guidato fino a qui e che ci fanno andare avanti come la speranza, l’ottimismo ed il desiderio di un ritorno alla normalità.
Possiamo, dunque, ancora scegliere di sognare e progettare il prossimo viaggio “del cuore”, quello che da anni aspettavamo di fare, o il retreat che ci serve dopo aver passato ore davanti al computer.
Con questa premessa, il sogno si sviluppa tra il Friuli, il Veneto e la Puglia, entrando in alcune delle migliori strutture italiane denominate Wine Resort e che racchiudono le peculiarità della Nostra Italia: il buon vino, la genuinità delle materie prime, la territorialità, la natura e l’ospitalità.
Castello di Spessa, Friuli.
Situato in un territorio al confine con Slovenia e Austria, l’antico castello fortificato che vanta secoli di storia, ad oggi si può definire un eclettico wine resort che offre ai propri ospiti attività, esperienze e charme.
Qui è possibile soggiornare in diverse aree come gli appartamenti nelle vigne, i quali affacciano sulla vigna di Ribolla Gialla e sono a pochi passi dal campo da golf, una delle molteplici attività che il castello offre.
Poi c’è la Tavernetta, luogo che si articola in dieci confortevoli camere e dove è possibile gustare i piatti dell’Hosteria del Castello a base di selvaggina e non solo. Per chi invece ama sognare, è possibile anche pernottare presso il castello stesso, il quale presenta un bistrot, una chiesetta, due grandi sale e una vasta zona all’aperto che nelle sere estive si prospetta come un’ottima opzione per godere della natura circostante.
In quanto a produzione, il Castello di Spessa, non si fa mancare nulla: abbiamo una vasta produzione di vino, sia rosso che bianco, ma anche una bollicina e alcune grappe.
All’interno della struttura è possibile immergersi nella natura e partecipare a delle classi di yoga, giocare a golf o anche noleggiare delle biciclette per un’escursione tra le pianure del territorio. Le attività però non terminano qui perché è possibile anche prenotare delle visite in cantina o un corso di cucina per conoscere al meglio il territorio attraverso il gusto e non solo con gli occhi.
Da provare: “Vinum”, percorso completo di vino terapia che comprende la sala del tino, che consiste in un’immersione completa del corpo nel vino, un massaggio con vino e fango per purificare la pelle e una conclusiva area relax all’aperto in cui è possibile degustare i prodotti della stessa tenuta.
Oltre ad essere una meravigliosa alternativa tra le esperienze proposte per gli ospiti, è anche una proposta eco-friendly dato che i prodotti utilizzati per i trattamenti hanno come materia prima tutti i derivati dell’acino d’uva che non sono stati utilizzati per produrre il vino stesso, i quali vengono rielaborati e rigenerati da un laboratorio specializzato.
Venissa, Isola di Mazzorbo – Venezia.
Il wine resort Venissa nasce dal sogno di Gianluca Bisol che quasi fortuitamente riscoprì il vitigno Dorona di Venezia.
Quest’ultimo, sopravvissuto alle molteplici peripezie ambientali come l’acqua alta del 1966 e la recente alluvione del 2019, si mostra estremamente forte e adattabile alle rigidità dell’ambiente lagunare.
Il vitigno è il protagonista indiscusso della tenuta e punto di riferimento per l’intera gestione, che punta con ogni suo progetto a preservare le tradizioni esaltando il territorio veneziano attraverso l’hospitality.
In linea con questa tradizionalità troviamo prima di tutto il metodo produttivo che prevede una lunga macerazione sulle bucce dei vini bianchi, portando un prodotto di elevata struttura e complessità. La produzione prevede circa 3000/3500 bottiglie, tutte decorate da una foglia d’oro con numero identificativo applicata a mano.
Questa passione e dedizione nei confronti del territorio, delle radici e dei prodotti che ne derivano è possibile viverla attraverso le proposte di Venissa come una visita nel vigneto di Mazzorbo o una degustazione verticale di annate del bianco.
Per concludere è possibile sperimentare la cucina prettamente vegetale e stagionale del ristorante che propone diverse opzioni di menu dai 5, 7 o 9 portate finalizzate a celebrare la cultura locale e territoriale.

Masseria Amastuola, Crispiano – Puglia.
A poco più di 100 km da Crispiano, la Masseria Amastuola vanta una storia secolare che risale al 1750 con più di un centinaio di uliveti che ne caratterizzano ancora oggi il paesaggio. Dal 2003, questo antico ricovero di attrezzi è stato preso in mano dalla famiglia Montanaro rendendolo un wine resort dalle mille sfaccettature.
Partendo dallo scenario, rielaborato dal paesaggista Fernando Caroncho che ha disposto le viti e gli ulivi a rappresentare delle sinuose onde, (le onde del tempo, ndr), esteticamente eleganti ma soprattutto funzionali, fino ad arrivare al cuore della tenuta, dove trovano spazio 18 camere e un ristorante con proposte legate alla territorialità ed allo stesso tempo rielaborate con innovazione e creatività.
Oltre alla splendida cornice, non possono mancare le wine experiences volte a conoscere, degustare e apprezzare la colonna portante di Amastuola: i vigneti.

After one year of sacrifice, and uncertainity, to organize a travel is not a priority but we should never forget of all feelings that has guided us and that will carry us forward as the optimism, hope and desire to come back to normality.
Basing on those elements we can still choose to dream and plan for the future the “sweet journey”, which were years we were waiting to do, or the “retreat” we needs after many hours in front of notebooks an smartphones.
With this premise, the dream develops between Friuli, Veneto and Puglia, entering some of the best Italian structures named Wine Resort and which contain the peculiarities of our Italy: good wine, the genuineness of raw materials, territoriality, nature and hospitality.

In addition to being a wonderful alternative among the experiences proposed for guests, it is also an eco-friendly proposal since the products used for the treatments have as raw material all the grape derivatives that were not used to produce the wine itself, which are reworked and regenerated by a specialized laboratory.
Venissa, Isola di Mazzorbo – Venezia.
The Venissa wine resort was born from the dream of Gianluca Bisol who almost fortuitously rediscovered the Dorona grape of Venice. The latter, having survived the many environmental vicissitudes such as the high water of 1966 and the recent flood of 2019, is extremely strong and adaptable to the rigidity of the lagoon environment.
The vine is the undisputed protagonist of the estate and a reference point for the entire management, which aims with each of its projects to preserve traditions by enhancing the Venetian territory through hospitality.
In line with this tradition we find first of all the production method which involves a long maceration on the skins of white wines, resulting in a product of high structure and complexity. Production involves about 3000/3500 bottles, all decorated with a gold leaf with an identification number applied by hand.
This passion and dedication towards the territory, the roots and the products that derive from it can be experienced through the proposals of Venissa such as a visit to the Mazzorbo vineyard or a vertical tasting of white vintages.
Finally, it is possible to experience the purely vegetable and seasonal cuisine of the restaurant which offers different menu options from 5, 7 or 9 courses aimed at celebrating local and territorial culture.

Masseria Amastuola, Crispiano – Puglia.
Just over 100 km from Crispiano, Masseria Amastuola boasts a centuries-old history that dates back to 1750 with more than a hundred olive groves that still characterize the landscape today. Since 2003, this old tool shed has been taken over by the Montanaro family, making it a multi-faceted wine resort.
Starting from the scenery, reworked by the landscape architect Fernando Caroncho who arranged the vines and olive trees to represent sinuous waves, (the waves of time, ed), aesthetically elegant but above all functional, up to the heart of the estate, where 18 rooms and a restaurant with proposals linked to territoriality and at the same time reworked with innovation and creativity.
