Seersucker summer

Di origine indiana (anche se pare che i primi filati derivassero dalla Persia ndr), con le sue classiche righe azzurre o rosse su fondo bianco, il seersucker (latte e zucchero) è da sempre il tessuto dell’estate.

D’estate, si sa, l’uomo elegante soffre. Per due motivi: il non poter esprimere tutta la sua eleganza per via della calura che, come un serpente tentatore, lo spinge a disfarsi di ogni decenza e per quello che vede intorno a sé. Uomini che la decenza l’hanno persa ormai da tempo e che nella calda stagione tirano fuori il meglio della loro essenza.

Per fortuna c’è il seersucker (anche se non è l’unico tessuto ideale per l’estate) a dare una mano all’uomo elegante. Il suo essere stropicciato, dovuto alla miscela di seta e cotone, permette alla pelle di respirare dato che non vi poggia completamente.

Oggi, il seersucker, è riconosciuto come must nello stile preppy ed è facile imbattersi in nuove varianti cromatiche.

Fortunately there is seersucker (although not the only fabric ideal for summer) to lend a hand to man elegant. Its being creased, due to the mixture of silk and cotton allows the skin to breathe because not lay completely.

Today, the seersucker, is recognized as a must in the preppy style and is easy to find new color variants.
