Appuntamento l’11 e il 12 maggio per l’ultima edizione del Trofeo Tollegno 1900, l’esclusiva gara di regolarità organizzata da Tollegno 1900 e NS Events che chiama a raccolta appassionati e collezionisti di auto d’epoca da tutto il mondo coinvolgendoli in un circuito di scoperta dell’area biellese. Un progetto che conta anche su main sponsor e suppliers di caratura internazionale come Ramona, Aston Martin Milano, Tag Heuer e My Style Bags.
Due giorni (11/12 maggio), oltre 100 auto esclusivamente invitate dagli organizzatori Tollegno 1900 e NS Events, un circuito teso a mettere la lente su alcuni dei luoghi più rappresentativi dell’area biellese (Oropa, Bielmonte, Lago di Viverone, Galleria di Rosazza), sponsor internazionali e partner locali di valore: questi gli ingredienti del quinto appuntamento del Trofeo Tollegno 1900 che, nato nel 2014, celebra nel 2019 la sua ultima edizione.
L’iniziativa, che ha fatto di “eleganza, spirito competitivo e passione” le linee e del Lanificio di Tollegno 1900 il punto di partenza e di arrivo, si snoderà per circa 200 chilometri articolati in 3 differenti province e 70 comuni nell’area tra Biella e la Valsesia.
A prendere parte a questa “Special edition by invitation only”, che ha scelto le Lancia Delta come tema monografico della manifestazione e il modello “Futurista” – rivisitazione di Automobili Amos – come fiore all’occhiello, saranno vetture prestigiose (tra le altre: Mercedes 300 SL Ali di gabbiano, Ferrari 275 GTB IV Alloy, modelli “rari” e in versione unica di casa Porsche provenienti da tutto il mondo) impegnate sia in momenti di gara, sia di esposizione per farsi ammirare da appassionati e curiosi, come la sfilata per Via Italia nel cuore di Biella e il display all’interno del Lanificio di Tollegno 1900.
Non solo gara: spazio al territorio
Sin dai suoi esordi il “Trofeo Tollegno 1900” si è proposto come un evento di sport e turismo mirato a promuovere il territorio e i suoi prodotti d’eccellenza. “In questi quattro anni – spiega Lincoln Germanetti Ceo Tollegno 1900 – l’iniziativa ha avuto sull’intera area biellese una ricaduta di immagine significativa come confermano le oltre 2000 persone che hanno soggiornato nel nostro territorio potendone apprezzare i prodotti enogastronomici, le realtà industriali di primo piano, i gioielli d’arte come la Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto, istituzione artistica di eccellenza fondata da Michelangelo Pistoletto dove si svolgerà la cena di gala l’11 maggio”.
Il programma: 2 giorni ad alto tasso di adrenalina
Ad aprire i giochi l’11 maggio negli spazi antistanti lo storico stabilimento del Lanificio di Tollegno 1900 sarà la consegna del road book del percorso e dei numeri di gara oltre alla verifica di documenti e delle vetture prima dell’inizio ufficiale fissato per le ore 11. Tappe cardine del primo giorno saranno il “Proving Ground” di Balocco dove, grazie alla collaborazione con FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles), sarà possibile lo svolgimento di una sessione della gara su due delle piste del circuito (“Langhe” e “Misto Alfa”) e la sfilata cittadina. Start della seconda giornataalle ore 9:00sempre il Lanificio di Tollegno 1900 dove, dopo una mattinata di prove, il circuito si chiuderà con l’esposizione di tutte le auto, un pranzo nella suggestiva “Sala Luce” e le premiazioni.

Two days (11/12 May), over 100 cars exclusively invited by the Tollegno 1900 and NS Events organizers, a circuit aimed at putting under the spotlight some of the most representative places of the Biella area (Oropa, Bielmonte, Lago di Viverone, Galleria di Rosazza), international sponsors and valuable local partners: these are the ingredients of the fifth edition of Trofeo Tollegno 1900 which, started in 2014, celebrates its last edition in 2019.
The event, which has made ‘elegance, competitive spirit, and passion’ the lines and the Tollegno 1900 Wool Mill the start and finish line, will wind for about 200 kilometres spread across 3 different provinces and 70 municipalities in the area between Biella and Valsesia.
To take part in this ‘Special edition by invitation only’, which has chosen the Lancia Delta as a monographic theme of the event and the ‘Futurista’ model – an interpretation by Automobili Amos – as its flagship, will be prestigious cars (among others: Mercedes 300 SL Gull-wing doors, Ferrari 275 GTB IV Alloy, rare and unique versions of Porsche models from all over the world) engaged both in moments of competition, and of display to be admired by enthusiasts and curious people, like the motorcade through Via Italia in the heart of Biella and the display inside the Tollegno 1900 Wool Mill.
Not just racing: space to the territory
Since its inception, ‘Trofeo Tollegno 1900’ has been proposed as a sport and tourism event aimed at promoting the territory and its excellent products. ‘In these four years,’ explains Lincoln Germanetti, CEO of Tollegno 1900, ‘the event has had a significant impact on the entire Biella area, as confirmed by the over 2000 people who have stayed in our territory, being able to appreciate its food and wine products, the top industrial companies, the art jewels such as the Cittadellarte – Pistoletto Foundation, an artistic institution of excellence founded by Michelangelo Pistoletto where the gala dinner will be held on 11 May.’
The program: 2 days of high adrenaline levels
To open the games on 11 May in the spaces in front of the historic plant of the Tollegno 1900 Wool Mill will be the handing of the roadbook and the race numbers as well as the verification of documents and cars before the official start set for 11 am. The milestones of the first day will be the ‘Proving Ground’ of Balocco where, thanks to the collaboration with FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles), a race session will be held on two of the tracks of the circuit (‘Langhe’ and ‘Misto Alfa’) and the city motorcade. The start of the second day at 9 am will once again be the Tollegno 1900 Wool Mill where, after a morning of tests, the circuit will end with a display of all the cars, a lunch in the charming ‘Sala Luce’, and the awards ceremony.
